In the midst of lush greenery, at the entrance to the Noumea forest park and under magnificent Gulmohar trees, the Peacock Café Noumea offers cuisine that respects the environment by favoring local products and reducing waste as much as possible.
Anyone visiting here will certainly cross the paths of splendid local residents that gave their name to the establishment: peacocks.
The eyespots in their feathers, with their elegant shape and iridescent colors, inspired the logo. With its condensed serifs and lettering, the main title typeface harkens back to the signs adorning yesteryear’s breweries and cafes – a graphic approach that reinforces the art nouveau aspect of the visual. And this artistic movement, which drew its inspiration from the curves of the plant world, was the right choice to represent the graphic universe of Peacock Café.
